CPVC pipe
The material was designed to eliminate copper being able to withstand hot water from hot water heaters, however, overtime, exposure to sunlight and the pipe being under constant pressure, the material becomes brittle and easily breaks, making repairs very dangerous for the property owner and the contractor. CPVC is very cheap and easy to install, yet has no long life expectancy and has become a nightmare for many property owners when repairs need to be made or CPVC ball valves are turned off only to have them break in your hand and not hold the water back for a complete shut down.
