Shower Valve Replacement
Shower Valve replacment happens when a repair is not possible or a bathroom is completely remodeled. A good idea is not to be cheap on this because once the wall is replaced and the tile is reinstalled, it will not be able to be completly replaced until the wall is removed again.Older is Stronger!
So true, the older the fixture, the more solid brass it was casted out of, today's fixtures, faucets, etc, are very thin metal and some are made of plastic with zinc mounting brackets, which rust after a month! So find those parts to fix the older faucets, and fixtures, and they will last another 30-40 years. Older toilets however, are not worth repairing due to the high GPF. There are a few new brands in which all of the parts are made of solid brass, however it is 2017 and we have only noticed one!
