Clean outs or Risers need to be installed in the septic tanks to be able to locate them for routine service, maintenance and inspections. If you can not find your septic tank, it is because the clean out is buried or there was never a clean out installed on the older tanks.  Once the tank is located by Blueprints or a Sewer Camera Inspection locator, a clean out riser should be installed to prevent paying more every time the tank has to be inspected or clean out.

And read this Too....

Why do I need a Cleanout for my main drain and septic tank? A main drain is the pipe leading and entering into the septic tank, you will need access to this pipe before the septic tank.

Because Clean outs can save Big Money!

A clean out into the septic tank will allow access beyond the inlet baffle and inside the tank to check tank levels and the drain field, which can be checked by looking into the septic tank to see if the Black Water Backs up into the tank and not into the drain field.

A clean out into the Main Drain Pipe Before the Tank

Allow access into the main drain line to the tank and under the house to all the fixture drains.  Pipe cleaning and pipe inspection can be performed through cleanouts in each section of your plumbing drain system.
